Refund policy

To be eligible for a refund (products), your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Only regular priced services may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your refund request, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

At Cleanr. it is our mission to provide complete customer satisfaction. If you are not totally satisfied with our service, please talk to us & If we can’t put the pep back in your step, then your clean is on us.

Cleanr. is pleased to provide shoe, bags and caps cleaning and shoe repair services to you, subject to your compliance with and acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth below. Your use of the shoe, bags and caps treatment and sole restoration services indicates your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein. If you do not so agree to the aforementioned, you should inform us and cease using the service immediately.

General Provisions

Cleanr reserves the right to refuse to clean any shoes, bags or caps or restore any soles. We do not guarantee the removal of all stains (wine, coffee, blood, oil/grease & paint stains, material/dye bleeding) and pre-existing damage or defects. Cleanr is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items. The customer agrees not to leave any other items with Cleanr. We cannot hold unclaimed shoes, bags or caps for more than 14 days unless agreed upon. Failure to collect shoes after 14 days grace period will result in storage fee of R100 per week. Beyond this period, unclaimed shoes will be donated to charity. 

Damage Policy

Cleanr will use reasonable efforts to maintain a high quality cleaning service. We accept no liability for damage due to normal cleaning of items without care instructions, and accept no liability for items treated in accordance with the care labels or other instructions provided.Cleanr is not responsible for sneaker materials bleeding (such as suede dye) or otherwise changing as a result of normal sneaker treatment procedures. Precautions will be taken to alleviate these problems if possible. Cleanr denies any responsibility for lost or damaged items, should the claim be made more than 3 days after customer collection, pick-up or delivery.

Lost or Damaged Items Reimbursement Policy

Any reimbursement shall not exceed the lower amount of the following:

  • 3 times our charge for shoe cleaning or sole restoration; regardless of brand or condition.
  • With an original receipt and proof of payment, replacement value of the garment(s) as follows: 75% if purchased under 30 days, 50% from 31-120 days and 25% after 1 year of purchase.
  • Cleanr.  is not liable for reimbursing new items purchased by the customer to replace lost or damaged items. We shall have no obligation to refund any amounts paid by the customer, but it may choose to do so in its sole and absolute discretion.
